Nuitori-Omeshi is a Omechi that looks like embroidery by weaving threads of different colors and materials together. Omeshi is a Chirimen (in English Crepe) woven with dyed thread.
Mon-Isho-chirimen is a one of Chirimen which brought out the change and the depth of the ground pattern by doubling the weft. There is a rich three-dimensional effect after dyeing, and it is often used for plain dyeing and blur dyeing.
Chirimen is a fabric that uses yarn with almost no twist warp threads, and is alternately woven with tight S-twisted and tight Z-twisted weft threads. Therefore, with scouring, the cloth shrinks and the texture appears on the surface of the fabric with desired irregularities.
Vintage Kimonos may have stains, spots or fading. Conditions vary. Stains and spots may or may not come off with dry cleaning. Some are not really noticeable, but some are. Carefully check the photos before you commit to your purchase.
